Conference weekends are my favorite weekends of the year, particularly fall conference weekends simply because I love fall and being snuggled on the warm couch listening to prophets of God while the trees shed their foliage outside. This weekend proved no exception, save that we got to spend it with one of my best friends from high school and her beautiful family. Julie and her husband drove four hours with their two kids to come visit us for the weekend, despite my fears that we weren't worth the drive :).
We had a great time together talking, getting to know her two kids better, going to an outdoor autumn festival, and listening to inspired words for our day. Her four-year-old daughter Molly was in love with Baby Hannah and kept referring herself as Baby Hannah's best friend. She sure was :). Baby Hannah was surprised with the sudden increase in household size but had a great time being adored by three times as many people :). It was a fantastic weekend and I'm so happy Julie and her fam made the drive and I got to have a little taste of home. Thanks again Jewels for a great weekend!
